Flemish chef Wim Ballieu crosses the border in "De Streken van Wim" for a culinary road trip through the Netherlands. He makes classic Belgian dishes based on the best Dutch ingredients. With his jeep and mobile kitchen, he travels from region to region, looking for typical Dutch products and the passionate people responsible for the production process. The journey takes him to farmers and bakers and he not only gets to know them better, but especially their products. Examples are stew with Frisian mustard and beer, steak tartare with Amsterdam pickles and vol-au-vent with Chaam grouse.
