Die Filmstudentin Pau dreht eine Dokumentation über ihre Schwester Andrea, einen K-Pop-Fan. Ihre Eltern wollen, dass Andrea Zahnärztin wird, einen sicheren Job hat und ein gewöhnliches Leben führt. Doch die möchte lieber ihre ganze Zeit mit ihrer neuen Tanz-Cover-Gruppe verbringen. Und heimlich hat sie noch einen anderen Traum: Sie will Sängerin werden und ihr Leben der Musik widmen. Darauf will sie sich wie ihre Idole in Korea vorbereiten. Vieles spricht dagegen: Sie ist nicht mehr im idealen Alter; sie weiß nicht, ob sie das nötige Talent hat; und sie ist keine Koreanerin. Doch die Doku, ihre Gruppe, eine unerwartete Liebesgeschichte und eine Zufallsbegegnung mit einem berühmten Schauspieler geben ihr das nötige Selbstvertrauen, um ihrem Traum zu folgen.
