Hamilton: In the Interest of the Nation

Carl Hamilton manages to infiltrate an international crime ring which has stolen advanced Swedish GPS-guided, anti-tank missiles, but the crime ring is subject to a sudden lethal attack by a well-trained group of mercenaries whose employer is unknown. Hamilton escapes the massacre, but the missiles vanish without a trace until a Somali peace political comes under attack. Meanwhile, the kidnapping of a Swedish weapons technician leads the Swedish Prime Minister to hire a private security company for an extraction – provided that a Swedish observer can join: namely Carl Hamilton. Hamilton realizes that his years as a secret agent have turned him into a killing machine and he wants to leave that behind. He has met a woman and is hoping that his life has reached a turning point, but at a time when corrupt politicians and war profiteers are threatening world peace, he soon understands that this is not possible. A dangerous mission brings Hamilton from Somalia's rugged wilderness to the streets of Beirut and the archipelago of Stockholm. Carl Hamilton must now do what he can in the best interest of the nation.
