Kristoffer is a 24-year-old billboard hanger living a carefree life. However, his world comes crashing down when his girlfriend, Elisabeth, leaves him for her boss. By a twist of fate, some of Kristoffer’s video diaries end up in the hands of the producer of the popular talk show “Karsten Tonight” on TV2. A few weeks later, Kristoffer's life has turned into TV entertainment. Viewers are captivated by the segments from his neighborhood of Tøyen, particularly Kristoffer’s quirky perspective on his surroundings, his wild best friend, Geir, and the eccentric web designer, Stig Inge, who hasn’t left the Tøyen shopping center in two years. Suddenly, Kristoffer’s future looks promising as everyone starts to adore him. However, exposing his life on national television comes at a cost. As Kristoffer’s future in the TV industry brightens, his friends begin to suffer. Geir’s deepest secret is exposed, and Stig Inge’s personal struggles turn out to be far more serious than Kristoffer initially realized. To win back his friends, Kristoffer faces a tough challenge.
