Bienvenue à la toute première production de High School Musical: The Musical, où une nouvelle ère de lycéens et leur nouveau professeur d'art dramatique tentent de refaire l'histoire sur scène, près de 15 ans après que le film original de Disney y ait été tourné. Vous aussi, vous ferez l'histoire en suivant les paroles à l'écran et en chantant dans chaque épisode ! Gabriela, Ricky et les autres personnages originaux sont joués par : Nini, une étoile montante tout juste sortie du camp de théâtre, Ricky l'ex-petit ami de Nini, skateur, qui se joint à la troupe de théâtre pour la reconquérir, E.J. le nouveau prétendant de Nini et Gina l'ambitieuse étudiante qui vient d'être transférée et qui cache ses secrets, mais a le théâtre dans le sang. En interprétant de nouvelles chansons et des reprises originales, ces nouveaux acteurs de East High sont déterminés à présenter sur scène leur version de High School Musical, avec tout les drames dans la vraie vie qui n'étaient pas prévu au scénario !
