Starring Ryohei Suzuki, Ayammi Nakajo and Kento Kaku, Tokyo MER tells of an emergency medical service team that rushes to scenes of serious accidents, disasters and incidents as first responders. Brave and driven, the team's only mission is: "No one dies.” Kota Kitami, the leader of Tokyo MER, bides by his guiding principle that some lives can’t wait to be saved, which brings this series to extraordinary scale with vehicular accidents, structural collapses, high stakes medical operations and state-of-the-art equipment. The series serves to give hope to viewers and honors the brave medical professionals who are still battling against the new coronavirus.
