Minnie macskája, Figaro szundikálni próbál, de a kanári (Frankie) kitartóan énekel. A civakodás során Frankie kalitkája felborul. Minnie azt hiszi, hogy Figaro megette Frankie-t, de a madárka egyszerűen csak elröppent. Végül Figaro megmenti Frankie-t a szomszéd kutyájától, és helyreáll az otthon nyugalma.
