In 1988 the body of Scott Johnson, a 27-year-old gay American doctoral student, was found sprawled below a cliff on a rugged beach in Sydney, Australia. For the past 30 years, his older brother Steve has been doggedly trying to find out what happened to Scott. He never could have imagined the tinderbox he would crack open.
